MY UNFORGETTABLE TRIP EVER :)
Last March 6 & 7, 2011, we the EDSC 120 class of ma’am Rica, together with sir Dan and ma’am Joy Magsayo , visited the bountiful province of Bukidnon. We depart Iligan City at the the cold dawn of Sunday. Along the way, I saw different places, people and specially the beauty of nature with the cool breeze of air…. “After a long time of sitting on the bus, finally, we‘re now in Bukidnon” exclaimed with excitement, we bound at about 9 o’clock and have our breakfast there at CEDAR (Center for Ecological Development and Recreation) located at Brgy. Impalutao, Impasug-ong,Bukidnon. It is a 1,703 hectares eco-tourism site anchoring different species of plants and animals; it has both natural and man-made forests and has different water forms to be found. Our next stop was in Mount Musuan Ecological and Botanical Garden.Mount Musuan is about 646 meters high. When I know that we will going to climbed up to its peak I thought that I couldn’t make it at all….but thanks God I was able to do it, I couldn’t imagine that I was able to do it. Every step I made, I felt that gravity is pulling me down so much…..but the happiness to be at the top can never be explained…”at last I’m here” when we are at the top, we always took picture of the overlooking beauty of Bukidnon. It was worth remembering experienced.
Next we arrived at the Edlimar resort at Maramag,Bukidnon-“ I reallly like the room we stayed together with my friends.”
Pinamaloy Lake is our next destination, located at Don Carlos,Bukidnon. It is a guitar-shaped man-made freshwater lake. Actually, it is my very first time to saw a lake, so I take the opportunity to have some pictures there together with my friends and the lake looks like really a guitar….how amazing it is. What fascinates me most is our trip at Waig Crystal Spring Resort a 1.6 hectares recreation are with swimming pools, souvenir shops, cafĂ©, and cable cars…how happy it made me when I rode one on the cable car, actually it is my first time and when I walk in the hanging I couldn’t keep on holding I thought that I fell down…but it’s not.
Again, we got back to Edlimar Resort, we prepare our things and have dinner, and then at about 1O pm the class decided to have a night swimming… so swam in the cold water of the pool, really it’s so cool. The after that I take my shower then I and my roommates decide to sleep because we well be early for tomorrow. When I was about to sleep I reminiscing such a wonderful experience on the first day of our trip, so what comes up next in my mind is that “what will happen tomorrow?”…then I sleep.
The next morning March 7, 2011, Monday after we all eat and freshen up we move on the next destination it is at the Monastery of Transfiguration on the top of San Jose Hill in Malaybalay,Bukidnon. I really like the ambiance and aura of the church, it is really beautiful. The architectural design was good; it is a perfect place for couples whom wanted to marry. The place can boost your spiritual senses especially when you read the very first quote when entering the church-“Be still and know that I am God.” We take pictures again and again.
Now this is it…”my most unforgettable place at all” –the Kaamulan Park, located at the heart of the province, this is the place where important events during the Kaamulan Festival was held, all sorts of business was also here-like souvenir items, foods and etc. I am part of the group five and we are assigned to do our activity here, while everyone was busy taking pictures, riding horses…we, our group was also doing our part. When we are all finished, I hurriedly walk…and an accident happens- I will just about to step on; when my foot slipped and I wasn’t able to recover my balance, so I got sat down on that muddy place and got dirty. And I was really ashamed of what have happened because I know that everyone looks at me, I also felt pity of myself…..”hhuhuuuh” but then its life, it’s part of the trip. So, after we had our lunch, we got back to Kaamulan Park to buy some souvenirs- I bought foods, beaded necklaces and bracelets. I was looking for “rambutan and pineapples” but I couldn’t find it and I wasn’t able to buy.
After all the experience, excitement and joys, again we rode in the bus and bid farewell to the place that is once been part of our life. Few hours ago were in Cagayan. There we visit the Ketkai Mall and buy some food and “pasalubong”. I together with Jeanne, Caryl and Rebecca immediately went to the World of Fun located at the second floor…. there we played many games. After we buy things, food and etc. it is now time to go home. After few hours of we are back in Iligan City. At the end of the day I was so fulfilled with what I’ve experienced there in Bukidnon. It is one my most unforgettable trip ever, specially that I have with my friends with me, my classmates, my teachers and above all the guidance of God Almighty is with us….. I hope that someday it will happen again!!! :)
Good eve and God bless you all!!!
